The Swaziland Partnership

The Swaziland Partnership is a cooperative effort between the Swaziland Church of the Nazarene, Swaziland Nazarene Health Institutions, NCM Africa, Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Inc., Bethany First Church of the Nazarene, and Southern Nazarene University.   • Knitting Friendships

    Taking knitting needles and yarn to work with during the long hours on the airplane proved to be a special part of the trip for one team member. God used a knitting hobby to connect with Swazi women and children in Ntondozi, teaching a new skill that also opened the way for real communication about families, marriage, hurts and God.   • Enabling Swazi Pastors to Impact Their Communities

    Swaziland, Africa, has the highest incidence rate of HIV/AIDS in the world. The Nazarene Church has had an influential presence in the country for more than 100 years, but the health crisis has stretched pastors and congregations to their limits. Bethany First Church of the Nazarene, in Bethany, Oklahoma, asked the four Swazi District Superintendents how the church could come beside them to help them reduce the number of HIV/AIDS cases in the country.

  • Swazi NazarenePastors Conference

    On August 16, 2011, one hundred and sixty pastors and spouses gathered in Manzini, Swaziland for the first-ever Nazarene Pastor’s Conference on the issues of HIV and AIDS. The small country of Swaziland in Southern Africa has the terrible distinction of having the highest HIV prevalence rate per capita in the world.  Read more.

  • Thank You Caps and Wraps Team!

    "We are humbled by your generosity!"  These were the thrilled first words of Matron Mamba when she saw the dozens of vibrantly colored caps and wraps being carried into her office at Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital in Manzini, Swaziland. Thanks to a dedicated group of ladies and men at BFC led by Eunice Robinson and Nila Murrow, many women will receive caps and wraps for their newborn babies. Read more.
