The Swaziland Partnership has ignited the passion and imagination of many people. We want everyone who has a desire to join a GO (Global Outreach) Team to have that opportunity. Please consider the part you can provide on a future team as there is something for everyone to do!

Depending on your skills you will be asked to serve on one of four teams:

Our efforts will focus on:

  • Partnering with Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital and their 20 rural clinics to provide equipment, training, renovation of their facilities as well as mentoring relationships with their doctors and nurses
  • Collaborating with the HIV/AIDS Task Force as they provide home health care to those dying of AIDS
  • Providing clean water to Swazi communities
  • Partnering with Swazi pastors and musicians on AIDS awareness
  • Loving at-risk children through Vacation Bible Schools, sports camps, and feeding programs
  • Supporting the care of children at the Ntondozi and Nduma Child Development Centres
  • Working at the Gerald Gassett Memorial Dental Clinic
  • Partnering with Southern Africa Nazarene University on the development of Manna Farms at their College of Theology
  • Ministering with local Nazarene Churches on evangelistic efforts
  • Working with local communities on the sponsorship of community gardens

Most GO Teams are gone for 10 to 11 days. The cost ranges from $3,000 to $3,650 based on the time of the year and the cost of the airline ticket. This cost is inclusive of your airline ticket, lodging, meals, ground transportation and all events.
Scholarships may be available for potential delegates. Please download the GO Team Scholarship packet for required forms and information.
Please direct any questions you may have to Pat Burton in the Office of Global Outreach. or (405) 789-2050.

Anyone interested in participating in a GO Team is encouraged to begin the application process for a valid passport. You will need a certified birth certificate, and the process can take 4-6 weeks. You can download passport information and forms from the U.S. State Dept. website.

You may also apply for your passport at many U.S. Post Offices. Please call for times and information. Passport photos can be obtained at many local Walgreens and CVS stores.

Current passports must be valid at least 6 months past the trip return date, and have at least 2 blank visa pages for border crossings.  This is required by the airlines for international travel.  Travel to Swaziland does not require a visa for trips under 30 days.
